Most patio replacements in Reno are driven by one of two things: the slab has settled and now drains back toward the house, or the patio was poured too small for how the yard is actually used. Both are solved at once by removing and repouring.

What patio replacement fixes
- Drainage. New grade set to run water away from the foundation instead of into it.
- Size and shape. Extending a slab to fit a table, a grill area or a cover is far cheaper as part of a replacement than as a later addition.
- Joint layout. Correct panel sizes so the new slab cracks where planned.

- Base problems. Soft or uncompacted material under the old slab gets corrected before the new pour.
Should you replace or resurface?
